Body Jet – water liposuction,

WAL

Body Jet®, WAL (Water assisted liposuction) is a liposuction method that uses a continuous stream of liquid to break down the subcutaneous fat tissue Thanks to that it guarantees the highest safety, comfort and efficiency for the patient. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia combined with sedation that does not require hospitalization. During the Body Jet liposuction in the first stage, called infiltration, a solution, which anesthetizes the operated area, is administered. In the next stage, through a special cannula a fluid is administered under pressure that loosens fat, which means that it releases fat cells from the connective tissue without damaging the more fibrous structures (such as nerves and blood vessels). At the same time, it is being aspirated together with unwanted fat cells. The liquid used, called the tumescent solution, contains, among others, adrenaline and lignocaine, thereby it simultaneously anesthetizes the operated area and narrows the blood vessels, minimizing bleeding. In addition, the use of this solution reduces the amount of anesthetic agents administered and shortens the time of exposure of the patient to their effects. Thanks to this treatment is safe for the patient and the risk of complications and even side effects – minimal. As a result of local vasoconstriction thanks to adrenaline, the removed adipose tissue usually contains only 1-3% of blood. During the classic liposuction performed under general anesthesia, this amount can reach up to 40%. This may result in the need for a blood transfusion during the procedure. Improved hemostasis in Body Jet, not only reduces blood loss, but also reduces the amount and size of bruises and haemorrhages, accelerates tissue regeneration and recovery time after surgery. An unquestionable advantage of Body Jet is the lack of subcutaneous tissue edema during the procedure. This allows the operating surgeon to closely follow the appearance of the effect and accurately model the body.

The equipment used in our center ensures high efficiency and allows to remove even very large amounts of fat from such areas as:

  • Abdomen
  • Waist
  • Inner thighs
  • Outer thighs
  • Knees
  • Calves
  • Back
  • Arms
  • Chin
  • Hamsters
  • Buttocks
  • Banana fold
  • Lipomastia, gynecomastia
  • Pubic area

Another and undeniable advantage of this technology is obtaining intact fat cell aggregations, the so-called micrografts together with stem cells contained in adipose tissue, which can be used in body modeling procedures, e.g. breast augmentation.

This procedure was called the BEAULI (Breast Augmentation by Lipotransfer) method, which means breast enlargement with the use of a fat graft. The best results are obtained after the implantation of 150-220 ml of collected material. With this amount, about 70-80ml remains permanently. Therefore, the best results are obtained with a 2-3 times surgery, because on average we increase breasts by about 150-200ml.
We were the second center in Poland that used the method of liposuction supported by a water jet, ie Body Jet.

That is why we can be called pioneers of this method on the liposuction market in Poland. However, in our center we offer a total of up to 10 different liposuction methods and we have extensive experience in their application, thanks to which, after consultation, we can choose the most appropriate method for each patient.
