Laser liposuction, SmartLipo, LAL. Laser liposuction is a fat suction procedure, where the removal of unwanted fat tissue from the body is preceded by the destruction of cells with a laser. It is currently the fastest growing field of liposuction, as the laser was the first technology in history to be used to improve liposuction. In our center we have: pioneering Smart Lipo, Fotona XP laser platform and 1470nm laser. With this method we are able to remove fat from the following areas:
Laser liposuction, like every method has its advantages and disadvantages. Disadvantages The disadvantages are that this method is applicable to a relatively small amount of adipose tissue. High energy applied in the area of adipose tissue results in increased degradation of cells and their complete destruction. For this reason, the fat extracted with the help of a laser cannot be used for transplantation, nor can we isolate stem cells from extracted material. Advantages Laser liposuction, on the other hand, is used in patients who require special skin toning, for example in the liposuction of the chin, where the excess skin after the treatment would be particularly visible. The laser strongly induces post-procedural shrinking of the skin through strong heating of tissues. Laser liposuction methods are also used in patients in the Dual Lipo procedures (eg WAL + LAL, NIL + LAL). This method is used mainly in obese patients, after pregnancies, with stretch marks and in elderly people with flaccid skin and poor shrinking potential. That is why it is extremely important to precisely qualify the patient by the doctor and choose the appropriate method. At the Liposuction Center, we can guarantee a wide knowledge of liposuction, experience in performing various types of liposuction procedures, as we carry out 600-800 procedures per year, as well as the availability of almost a full range of liposuction methods.
